Eleanor Lang

Eleanor Lang is the Vice-President of Marketing and Public Relations for Manifesto Games, a publisher and e-commerce retailer of downloadable computer games. She has spent most of her professional life working with both new media and the lively arts, and strongly believes that, in addition to being fun, "low" or popular art forms have a far greater capacity to reach people with a message or concept than other forms of art or communication.

In addition to computer games, which she's been involved with since 1995, Eleanor has worked in book publishing, comics, and technology. Her work has included many national media campaigns, including an AIDS awareness comic, and a political simulation game for a major non-profit organization. She also founded and published an imprint of seminal works of fantasy and science fiction

In addition to her work at Manifesto Games, Eleanor volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, and believes that cities can be environmentally sane and sustainable. She lives in New York City, where she is active in her lower Manhattan community and where she keeps a somewhat mutable number of animals and children. She holds a degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.
